Originally I created this blanket over 15 years ago. At that time there was no such thing as Graph Software. I used graph paper, markers, pencils and eraser when I created this piece of tapestry.
Recently I got many requests for the pattern so I decided to write it up in simple to follow crochet instructions that anyone could do. It was a real challenge to put this into written form, but I did it!
This piece can be made in 3 sizes depending on the crochet stitch you use (easy instruction are included to make these changes in size). The sizes are: Pillow Size, Lap Afghan Size, & Blanket Size (oversize throw). You're going to be amazed at how simple and quick this piece works up. When you're finished your going to have an impressive Chinese Dragon Blanket, that you can keep for yourself or give to a friend/family member.
With the holidays just around the corner it's a perfect gift!
All of the instruction on how to create this blanket are included in this extensive pattern. All you do is follow the simple instructions and your done!
It's a plus if you know how to change yarn colors in the middle of a row (CBN, Intarsia Crochet, Colorblock Crochet, Tapestry Crochet, Photo Crochet, all of these techniques are similar to what you will be doing in this pattern).
I call this technique CPC and I will be offering more patterns in this technique in the future.
**Note: I've put a limit on the number of copies of this pattern that I will sell. I don't want this to become an over produced tapestry.**
***FYI!! Just added a revised copy of this pattern.**

I am a crafter/artisan and have been honing my skills for the past 45+ years. My first love is crochet. I've taught myself many different crafts over the years, but my first love, is crochet. I learned how to crochet from a real pro, my grandma, when I was 9 years old. I've been in the craft business for about 30 years. I owned a brick & mortar shop, but the overhead became too much for me so I decided to put my business online. I was the owner of Jewels Designs. I closed up this shop was recently and I set up Connie's PDF Patterns & more recently Connie's Custom Crochet, with two new Face Book Fan Pages, Etsy Shops and Blogs, https://www.facebook.com/ConniesCrochetGifts
Check them out when you get a chance. Coming in 2015, Connie's By The Yard Trims.
I love helping and promoting my fellow artisan's and their beautiful work. I do a lot of this cross-promoting on my face book pages and blogs, so look me up any time.
I love creating new patterns and hope to bring them to you for another 45 years!
Thank You for allowing me to bring my love of crafts to you and to Craftsy!
