This is so cool, it's a pattern to make a blanket and a game all in one.
The blanket is the perfect size to lay on the floor and play the game of checkers and also use it to snuggle under to keep warn. The checkers are a nice size for little one's hands. You do not make individual blocks then sew them to together but you continue going back and forth in single crochet changing colors as you go. This makes a nice ridge free blanket and game.
Instructions are included explaining how to read the chart.
Hi, I live in a small fishing village in eastern Canada. The winters are long so I occupy my time by crocheting and designing patterns that are cute and fun to make. I love to give them as gifts and the people I give them too love homemade gifts. I also like to walk, bake and cook. I have a wonderful husband and two grown boys and one Nova Scotia Duck Toller doggie named Chester.
