I started knitting at age 8 and learned all the rest as I went along - crocheting, sewing, tatting, latch hook, macrame, quilting, needlepoint, leather work, and woodworking. I became a professional seamstress and got into quilting big-time. These days, I mostly concentrate on knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, and woodworking. I began doing my own designing when I was laid up in a full leg cast. Since then, I have created over 200 of my own designs in various mediums, the patterns for which I sell everywhere and anywhere. I decided to sell my patterns individually, since I hate to have to buy an entire book to get the one or two that I want.
I do sell some hand-made items from my own designs, including woodworking items made by myself, at:
As you may be able to tell from my other patterns, I love cats. It just came to me one day that a motif with a cat would be a lot of fun, so I proceeded to design these cute cats. I just got a bunch of scraps in different colors and went to town. The motifs are slip-stitched together to give a picture frame effect and the front and back pieces are joined to look like cording. There is a zippered back closure, so the cover can be removed for laundering.
Pillow measures about 13" square finished.
I have this pattern already made, or made to order, in my Etsy shop at http://etsy.com/shop/originalsbyterry, as well as other hand-made items, including woodworking, from my own designs.
Be sure to check out the rest of the Halloween designs in my shop, as well as the rest of my original needlepoint, knit, crochet, and quilt designs. I add new patterns all the time.
All of the patterns which I sell are my own designs and are copyrighted. Painstaking attention has been paid to the instructions, to ensure that they are clear, accurate, and easy to understand and follow.
