(4) Name: 'Crocheting : Blooms

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, read written pattern instructions, add yarn

Pattern Description:

I needed a plant hanger for my indoor plants that was not only strong, but beautiful. After looking online for one that was reasonably priced, I decided to make my own. This hanger features an openwork crochet design for the basket that represents flower blooms ending in a picot stamen. It is designed to be strong enough to hold up a potted plant weighing about 8 lbs. Of course, your hook and dcor have to hold just as much weight for it to work.

This pattern will be part of an ebook featuring all of my planter designs later in the year.
