These afghans are a lot of fun and can be made in any color. Two border styles are provided to customize the look.
The Pink Diamond afghan alternates evenly between pink and white diamonds and is worked in complete rounds.
The Blue Diamond afghan is like a baseball diamond and is worked from the dark blue diamond out. Follow the instructions closely regarding turning rows since not all rounds are worked all the way around. I also think this afghan would be fun using greens and tans.
This pattern is written in U.S. terms.
Working in pattern for either afghan, Rnds 1-4 measure 5" across measured diagonally.

My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. I started writing down patterns when making snowflakes, one of my favorite projects to make. I love working on any kind of thread crochet project such as connect as you go motifs, filet crochet, etc. My other favorite crochet projects are working on my reversible designs.
I also enjoy cross stitch and knitting. Someday I hope to learn quilting and tatting.
