I love these little hearts. They are so versatile. Some of the possible uses: Tree ornament, gift tag, scrapbook sparkle, applique, bookmark, heart soap holder, a Valentine, wall hanging, a greeting card, and best of all a pocket for a special gift or greeting. They are quick to make, maybe an hour. Only take about 30 yards of Size 10 thread, so cost is about 30 cents.
In dc, 20 stitches is 1-7/8" (4.875 cm); 10 rows equals 1-5/8" (4.1 cm)

In 2011 I retired from a 25-year career as a medical transcriber. I have a college degree in music education where piano was my major instrument.
I learned to knit and crochet from my mom as a young child. By high school, I had knit myself a cardigan sweater, and since then I have knitted and crocheted hundreds of items. In the 1980's and '90's, I began to concentrate on thread crochet. I also began designing and have completely enjoyed this part of crafting.
Now that I am retired, I have a little more time to actually document these designs. I am so excited about the possibilities available to me in the future. My Avatar presents a cape that I designed for my sister when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This event has also been an inspiration to me in designing to bless the lives of people in my life and to help you bless those you love.
My husband and three sons (and two grandsons) are very supportive of my future design goals. You may see me riding down the road somewhere crocheting or knitting a new design as we travel.
My love of music has also afforded me the opportunity to sing in a Sweet Adelines Chorus. This is another great joy to me.
As you can see, I am able to use these "Hands of Blessing" in many ways. I hope you find a pattern in my library which will allow you to bless someone in your life.
