Pattern Description:

What a cute pair of moccasins to keep those precious little toes warm during winter!

This pattern is written using American crochet terms although a US/UK crochet terms conversion chart is also provided. I am listing this pattern as "intermediate" as it involves using a couple of more "advanced" stitches. You will notice, however, that it is a very detailed pattern as I have put every effort to make each step as clear and as easy to follow as possible and included plenty of additional notes and pictures.

Gauge:

5 sc / 5 rows in single crochet worked in the round = approximately 1" (2.5 cm) / 1" (2.5 cm)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

XS (approx. age Preemie - 0 months): sole length 3" (8 cm), sole width at widest point 2" (5 cm)
S (approx. age 0 - 3 months): sole length 3.5" (9 cm), sole width at widest point 2" (5 cm)
M (approx. age 3 - 6 months): sole length 4" (10 cm), sole width at widest point 2.25" (6 cm)
L (approx. age 6 - 12 months): sole length 4.5" (11 cm), sole width at widest point 2.25" (6 cm)

Materials:

Approximately 50 g of worsted weight/Aran/10 ply yarn in 2 colors of choice
Crochet hook size E (3.5 mm) or size needed to achieve gauge
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
3-4 stitch markers
Bristle brush for fluffing up "fur"
Preferred props for making pompoms or Fray Stop Glue for finishing simple shoe laces
