When I purchased this pattern I thought it had directions for other sizes. Has this been made for a 12-18 mo old. This was supposed to be a gift for a friends little girl this weekend now I'm afraid I can't make it! Please help!!

Ive been trying to figure out this pattern and I am pretty sure Rounds 19 and 20 should read like this(these are the rounds that make the shells on top, by the way):
19.(switch to k hook), ch 1 sc in hdc, sk st, 4dc in next hdc, sk st repeat from
around, sl st to join
20. sl st to 3rd dc, ch 1 sc in 3rd dc, 4dc in next sc repeat from around, sl st to join.

also, in the photo it looks like she added an extra 2 points on top right under where you attach the ties. So round 22 (which currently has no instructions except to tie it off and weave in ends, so I think she is missing that round anyway) should say something like : sl st to 3rd dc, ch 1 (sc in 3rd dc, 4dc in next sc) twice, sc in 3rd dc, ch 1, turn. sc in same dc, 4dc in next sc, sc in 2nd dc. fasten off. sk next sc on round 21, attach yarn to next 3rd dc, rpt from * to *

hope this helps because I was really confused by rounds 19 and 20 and I am sure a lot of other people were, too.

Also when you make the ruffles, it is easiest to start with the bottom ruffles and work your way up.
