Basic Skills Necessary:

  • make a slip not
  • make chains
  • sc - single crochet stitches
  • dc - double crochet stitches

Pattern Description:

This is The Skirt that started it all. This is the first item I crocheted without a pattern that wasn't a blanket. This is the first thing I sold in my shop Yarn Baby, its the reason I started Yarn Baby. It's my first design. This is it...The Skirt.
The pattern includes instructions for 3 different sizes; newborn, 6 months, and 12 months. This pattern would be perfect for a beginner, the only 'tricky' stitches are fpdc and bpdc so clearly written instructions have been included on how to do them. I have sold more of these skirts than anything else - I hope you do just as well!
