Sara learned to knit and crochet in the 4th grade and started designing her own patterns soon after. She has used craft throughout her life in various school, service, and fundraising projects. She has been lucky enough to write and design patterns for a variety of organizations, most recently with the non-profit Krochet Kids International. This is a fun and high fashion coat made using the crochet loop stitch (described in the pattern). It is loose, stylish, fashionable, and very warm. Perfect for styling up any outfit in these cold weather months!
Supplies: I hook, worsted weight yarn (1,870 yards), tapestry needle
Gauge: 7 stitches and 8 rows of single crochet = 2 inches
Stitches: Chain (ch), Slip Stitch (sl st), Single Crochet (sc), Single Crochet 2 together (sc2tog), Loop Stitch (described in pattern)
Sizes: S/M, L/XL
Size Guide: S/M: 38 inches around body, 30 inches from shoulder to bottom, 11 inches around the bottom of sleeve, 25 inch long sleeve. L/XL: 46 inches around body, 34 inches from shoulder to bottom, 13 inches around the bottom of sleeve, 28 inch long sleeve.
