The girls favorite summer dress! Easy to dress and easy to wear. So simple and yet with this extra touch that gives it a little wow! The pattern is simple for anyone to work; all double crochet and chain stitches, with repetitive little open work flowers. I have made a complete pattern diagram for every stitch on the dress!
The crochet flowers attached to the shoulder cords, keeps the dress up, a cute solution for the straps.
Work the dress shorter or longer as you please.
The "under-dress" Sophie is wearing, is for Free Download! Link here:

Sophie and Me is a small home business with modest production of Pdf crochet patterns for toddlers and women.
As you probably have guessed, Sophie is my manikin, my dress doll! She is about 3 years old, and has become indispensable in my work with crochet patterns, as there is not a toddler in sight in my neighborhood! She is a perfect child, always available, never cries and don't have to be fed! My husband worries now and then, catching me in talking to her!
I'm Norwegian, living outside Rome for the last years with my Italian husband, and I love it! After a long working life I finally I have time and peace in my mind to craft, create, experiment and design.
I grew up in a small village where my parents by need daily used their skills in all kind of crafts. My mother taught me how to sew, knit and crochet, among other housely things. My father taught me how to fish, climb a mountain, and set tiles, do carpentry, paint and anything else you need to know about building a house.
My education made me a fashion designer, but but I have always worked with interior.
Now I create quality crochet, knitting and other patterns, childrens clothing, jewelry, buttons and paper craft.
