Pattern Description:

I love to revamp clothing from the thrift store, or just something I already have that is tired and needs a new life. This pattern is one of a series I've done that you can use to do just that with old skirts, dresses, or even just a piece of fabric! Plus, it totally goes with the trend of the maxi dresses that has been so popular lately. This pattern is totally doable for a beginner/intermediate crocheter. There is very little increasing/decreasing, and no shaping really. Also, its very easy to customize this pattern for any size.
The waist has a drawstring, so it can fit a wide variety of sizes, depending on how loose or tight you like this sort of clothing to fit.
This pattern also doesn't require a lot of thread. You do have to use two strands held together as one if your thread is fine, but if you have heavier thread, by all means just use one strand.
This pattern does require some very simple sewing, which you can do by machine if you have one and want to use it, or you could sew it by hand. Its very basic sewing.

I love to crochet, can't seem to stop doing it since I learned to single crochet in college 11 years ago to keep from falling asleep in a 7 AM class. It was all down hill from there.....or maybe its all been uphill since then?!?!?! Not sure, just know I love my hooks and don't see myself letting them go any time soon.
I am a huge fan of vintage styles, the roaring 20s, 30s and 40s in particular, ...
