Pattern Description:

A very quick piece for girls, available in sizes 4-12 with custom sizing guide in the pattern.

Often shrugs are worked from cuff to cuff. Instead, this pattern is worked from the bottom-up building the ribbing as you go. That means the only sewing is the two sleeve seams.

This is the girls' version of the Alpaca Silk Shrug (also available here - http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/Clothing/Alpaca-Silk-Shrug/15833).


5 repeats of (2hdc, ch1) = 3.75"

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This shrug will fit sizes 4-6 (6-8, 10-12).


  • 1 skein Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (80% cotton /20% wool, 215 yards)
  • Size H/5mm crochet hook
