Scooter is a simple, unisex boat-neck vest with two of my favourite features: It's equally suited for variegated and solid coloured yarns, and it has the option of button detailing at the shoulder. I mean, who doesn't love an excuse to use some fab colourways and great buttons?
Key features include generous length to keep little backs warm during even the most active playtime. And the boat-neck will keep the upper chest chill-free, making it a great choice for playing outside on those cooler days.
Worked from the bottom-up in one piece and joined together as you go. It couldn't be simpler.
Skill level: EASY to INTERMEDIATE - This is a project created using basic stitches and minimal shaping and finishing. It incorporates a repetitive pattern using basic crochet stitches.

My name is Deanne Ramsay and I live in Canberra, Australia. I am on a mission to create designs that are not only great to wear and use, but are interesting and enjoyable to create as well. After all, you are the one doing all the hard work!
I like to use simple stitch combinations to create interesting and beautiful fabrics as well as provide a canvas for you to make your own fabulous, colourful masterpiece. Being a busy mother, I fully embrace the idea of minimum effort for maximum effect so I try to incorporate that philosophy into my patterns. My designs are virtually, if not completely seamless, and most are easily customised for the perfect fit. I love using a variety of fibres and combining colours to create beautiful, practical and interesting pieces.
All my patterns are offered with full after-sales support. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me via email. I am always happy to be of any assistance I can and would love to hear from you.
I look forward to seeing what you create from my designs. Together, lets show the world how fabulous crochet can be!
Warmly
Deanne
