Basic Skills Necessary:

  • sc, hdc, dbl, join, slst,
  • crochet 2 stitches together
  • crochet in front or back post of prior row

Pattern Description:

I love the look of knit socks but only know how to crochet! After searching all over for a crochet sock pattern that looked like the adorable knit ones, I had no luck! So I just grabed my crochet hook and sat down and spent many hours putting together and ripping apart sock after sock until I came up with this. I hope this pattern will save you hours of time trying to figure out a pattern!

This crochet pattern comes with complete instructions with pictures. The pattern is for a newborn sock size only. I offer assistance, if needed, on all my patterns by contacting me through email.

Gauge:

Hook E: finished size should be 1 inch X inch

Chain 9, dbl in 3rd chain and each chain across, chain 2, turn (7)
Row 2: fpdbl in each st, chain 2 turn(7)
Row 3: bpdbl in each st, chain 2 turn (7)
Row 4: fpdbl in each st, chain 2 turn (7)
Row 5: bpdbl in each st, (7) check gauge
