Pattern Description:
This classic skirt pattern is worked side to side, making it easy to customize to any waist measurement. A simple four row repeat includes a touch of lace detailing that's worked at the hem, and a zipper makes it easy to put on (but instructions for an elastic waist are also included). The layered two-color edging adds a bit of whimsy, or leave it off and let the lace of your favorite slip peek through.
Gauge:
16 sts worked over 16 rows in tension swatch pattern measures 4" square, blocked.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Sized from XS to 2XL to fit waist: 26 (29, 31, 34, 36, 39)" and hips: 33 (37, 39, 43, 46, 50)", but it is super easy to make a bigger/smaller waist. Length is 22", also adjustable.
Materials:
- 861-1107 yards of DK weight yarn (depending on size made) and a small amount of CC (optional).
- 7" length zipper and hook and eye closure OR 2-3 yds round elastic
- Size H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook or any size to obtain gauge
- Grosgrain ribbon (optional, for zipper closure)
