I was inspired to make this using several different types of trims for variety. I love the way it came out and the colors help to accent the different stitches.
I am offering this as a free PDF Pattern in support of the "Purple Stitch Project." This is a project that Vickie Howell (a Craftsy crochet instructor) is working on to raise epilepsy awareness.
Find out how you too can get involved by adding a purple pattern, or by making an item to be donated to kids with epilepsy. Click:

I started crocheting when I was about 7, making clothes for my Barbie doll. Now I make anything and everything. I have recently started designing my own patterns - I started with poncho patterns and then started adding some baby items.
My plan is to continue adding new original patterns to my line of patterns - with more baby, adult and pet patterns to come.

Started crocheting when I was very young and have now started designing my own patterns. I now realize how much work goes into a finished pattern.
