Summer begs for light, feminine, unique crochet clothing, and this item is exactly that. Make this with cotton yarn, I used Frog Tree Pima Cotton for the piece shown, and its so cool and almost silky to the touch - perfect for those warm, sultry summer evenings. The pattern is super simple, easy enough for beginners, and although there is some assembly, there's very minimal shaping (only used for tapering the straps at the ends). So, if you are looking for a quick, simple yet striking item to add to your DIY wardrobe, this is the one!

I love to crochet, can't seem to stop doing it since I learned to single crochet in college 11 years ago to keep from falling asleep in a 7 AM class. It was all down hill from there.....or maybe its all been uphill since then?!?!?! Not sure, just know I love my hooks and don't see myself letting them go any time soon.

I am a huge fan of vintage styles, the roaring 20s, 30s and 40s in particular, so you'll find some influence from those periods in my designs, but also tons of other things.
Feminine, fun, useful, and as much as possible, versatility in function, are the things that always seem to crop up in my patterns.
