This versatile hooded vest can be worn with anything to spruce up your wardrobe.
This is an easy thread crochet project. Once you connect the motifs at the bottom, the rest is a repeating pattern. This project is worked from the bottom up, starting with connect-as-you-go motifs. The body of the vest is worked all the way around, so there is no seaming necessary.
This pattern is written in U.S. terms.
Working in pattern:
4 shells (dc, ch 2, dc) = 2-1/8" across
10 rows = 2-1/4"
Motif = 2-1/8" square

I have always loved crafting!
My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. I started writing down patterns when making snowflakes, one of my favorite projects to make. I love working on any kind of thread crochet project such as connect as you go ...

My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. I started writing down patterns when making snowflakes, one of my favorite projects to make. I love working on any kind of thread crochet project such as connect as you go motifs, filet crochet, etc. My other favorite crochet projects are working on my reversible designs.
I also enjoy cross stitch and knitting. Someday I hope to learn quilting and tatting.
