I wanted to do another easy skirt that required no actual increases or decreases, just hook changes. I wanted it airy and fun to wear yet graceful and sexy. Garden Gate AKA Got Curves does all of that. You have a choice of three waistbands. Elastic with bias tape casing to keep it from being bulky at thte waist yet swing freely. You can also use the instructions for a drawstring with casing, or just a drawstring woven through the waist. Any way you do it, you end up with a comfortable and non bulky flattering fit. I put wooden beads on the bottom of the skirt just for the fun of it although this is really not required. The length is just below knee length.

Very awkward, but I finally figured it out! Now I make and design most of my own clothes in either medium and often put the two together to create something special.
