I love to use color to enhance my designs there are many colors to choose from. This pattern uses a #2 weight yarn and loafers are made working with 2 strands of yarn. These sweet baby girl loafers are chunky, soft and warm.

This pattern is an easy skill level and would be a perfect pattern to use to make your baby girl several pairs of shoes to coordinate with her dresses, slacks or her jeans.


9 stitches = 2"

5 stitches = 1" (Newborn size)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Newborn - 3.25"
  • Size 1, 0 to 3 months, 3.50"
  • Size 2, 3 to 6 months, 3.875"
  • Size 3, 6 to 9 months, 4.25"
  • Size 4, 9 to 12 months, 4.50"


  • D/3/3.25mm crochet hook
  • C/2/2.75mm crochet hook
  • 2 - 1/2" buttons for size newborn, 1 and 2
  • 2 - 5/8" buttons for size 3 and 4
  • matching sewing thread and needle
  • 1.5mm crochet hook for weaving in ends
