Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Sewing if you are applying the flip flop bottoms

Pattern Description:

Tired of slipping and or I wanted to wear my crocheted slippers outside. So I made a silicone bottom

These directions are to make your crocheted slippers nonslip or wearable outside. The directions have two forms of doing this. 1. is with silicone and 2. is sewing on a rubber sole from a flip flop. We will give you step by step directions for both applications.
We have used both and they are both very comfortable.

Materials:

  • Clear Silicone seal - Found at Home Depo or Lowe's Small amount of rubbing Alcohol Small container for Alcohol Flip flop only - One long darning needle or doll needle to sew flip flop bottom Flip flop only - Small amount of matching yarn to sew on bottom.
  • one inexpensive flip flops if doing this application

You Will Also Need:

  • I used a long doll needle to Sew to bottom of slipper. Small amount of rubbing Alcohol/Small container for Alcohol
