Here is my best selling girls crochet and fabric summer dress pattern. This pretty dress features a sweet crochet bodice, skinny straps, a gathered fabric skirt with back button closure and optional decorative flower to add to the dress or wear as a hair accessory. NOTE: the button closure is part of the crochet band, you do not need to know how to make a button hole in the fabric to complete this pattern!
This pattern includes instructions for you to make four sizes: 4 to 5 Years (Chest = 23"), 5 to 6 Years (Chest = 24"), 6 to 7 Years (Chest = 25") and 7 to 8 Years (Chest = 26").
The crochet instructions are written in American crochet terminology, skill level is Easy. The sewing instructions will suit someone with basic machine sewing skills and includes how to gather the skirt, sew the back seam and hem and join the skirt to the bodice. You do not require a serger/overlocker for this pattern. The pattern is thirteen pages long and includes pictures of every step.
