Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Chain, double crochet, solomon's knot, work in rows

Pattern Description:

The perfect special occasion or everyday dress. It may look complicated but this baby dress is made using basic stitches. I always wanted to dress my little girl like a doll. This dress accomplishes that. No sewing seams. Worked in one piece from yoke down to skirt.

Make it in a solid color or 2 colors it's up to you. Can be sized for 3 months all the way to 2T.

This is a favorite on my site and now you can make it too.

Please be sure to make a swatch gauge for best fit. Adjust your hook size accordingly. This dress is very unique and beautiful.

Yarn used can vary from baby weight to worsted weight which is what was used in this photo. Please see sizing suggestions on pattern for suggested hook sizes.

Stitches used included shell stitchs, solomon's knot and basic ch, sl st. You must have knowledge of crochet to complete this dress. It is not a beginner pattern although following along with the youtube videos can be a big help.
