Intermediate
Get ready for summer with this fun thread crochet top! Wear it as a swimsuit coverup or to brighten up a summer outfit! If you love thread crochet, this is a great project for the intermediate crocheter. The swirl motifs are crocheted together using the connect-as-you-go technique so there is no need for sewing.
Two assembly charts, in addition to the three motif sizes, are provided to achieve multiple sizes for the coverup.
To help visualize how the motifs fit together, cut out the front and back pieces from the assembly chart and tape them together as a reference.
This pattern is written in U.S. terms.
Working in pattern:
(measuring side to side)
Small Motif = 2-3/4" across
Medium Motif = 3-1/8" across
Large Motif = 3-1/2" across

I have always loved crafting!
My mom and I learned to crochet together when I was 12 because there was a crocheted vest I wanted to make. We worked through it and figured it out together. I have been crocheting ever since. I started writing down patterns when making snowflakes, one of my favorite projects to make. I love working on any kind of thread crochet project such as connect as you go motifs, filet crochet, etc. My other favorite crochet projects are working on my reversible designs.
I also enjoy cross stitch and knitting. Someday I hope to learn quilting and tatting.
