This skirt is my absolute favorite in my summer line! I feel like it has a classy, vintage look about it, and it's just SO feminine! This skirt is great with swim suits and it could be intimate wear, but it looks good with leggings too!

I became a young stay at home mommy just before my first daughter was born in 2010. In the years that followed, my spouse and I have graduated college together (I have a degree in Early Childhood Education), brought another daughter into the family, and have set many goals to get on our feet as a successful household. We've gotten off of assistance and just bought our first house (spring 2014)! I would really love to be able to stay at home for our children, but I also want to help my spouse contribute to the family budget! We've never had a lot of money, but we've NEVER had a problem setting goals, fulfilling them, or loving our lives.
I started my crochet business in the summer of 2013. I started with baby items, and have since expanded to accessories for adults along with beach clothing and household items. I have patterns of my designs available for purchase in my Etsy shop and in my Craftsy shop. I'm always striving to better my business for my customers, and I am determined to help support our little family... and my yarn addiction! My business goals include selling internationally, designing as many products as I can, making the customer experience one that they'd like to have again, and of course crocheting beautiful products that can be cherished for years. Whether it's a hat for a baby's first photography session, or a gift for Christmas, I'd like to be able to make something for everyone.
On my social media pages, I usually share links to free patterns and an occasional quote from my oldest daughter (Lovey). On the blog, I share all of my products on Mondays with the occasional mommy post that will include a recipe or idea. And because my daughters are a major part of my inspiration, here's a snippet that I only shared on my personal Facebook page:
"My dad went out and got Little People crazy last Christmas... and Snow White and her 7 little men were included in the scandal. Lovey loves Grumpy. There's nobody cooler than Grumpy. He probably reminds her of me.... Anyway, she's watching the movie with Grumpy, and she says to him, "Grumpy, you're mad. I can tell that you're just mad. I think you need to calm down. If you put your eyebrows up, then you'll be happy. Don't put them down like that. It makes you mad." "
That right there is a GREAT example of life. Put your eyebrows up, then you'll be happy. It doesn't get any easier than that!
