Intermediate
Here is my interpretation of famous Catalan espardenyes in baby sizes!
The pattern contains written out instructions in American terms using common stitch abbreviations.
The pattern difficulty falls somewhere between "easy" and "intermediate" level as defined by http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/skill.html. I would not try it as my first project if I were a complete beginner, as it involves a fair number of post stitches and requires a certain level of dexterity with the hook. Having said that, I did make it very detailed and included PLENTY of pictures, which is why it is so long (8 pages total!). I have also written a lot of notes to assist with the tricky bits. You probably will find that once you have finished you first sandal, the second will be done much quicker.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if anything is not quite clear. I will be more than happy to help and will appreciate your feedback.

Hello! My name is Yuliya and Weaver is an English equivalent of my rather unpronounceable Russian surname.
I am deeply infatuated with crochet and love exploring this beautiful craft. I publish my "discoveries" in my patterns.
