The Carlotta dress is one to cherish. Really. I'm handing this one down to the grandkids when my kids are done with it. You can use bright colors to make the dress fun or use muted colors and have a more heritage look. You can also change the look of this dress by adding ribbon in multiple places, or attaching flowers, bows etc.
The pattern is written so that you can make this dress ANY size (although I recommend not making this over a 3 or 4 size - it gets heavy).
I have been creating crochet patterns for about 9 years. In the beginning my patterns were pretty scary, but I think all the years of practice (and forcing my kids to wear my creations) has paid off! Hopefully you think so too.
