Excellent Love the ruffles  June 27, 2013

I own several patterns by Bowtykes and again happy with my purchase. Pattern is well written and easy to follow.

I have started to alternate stitches on rows to give some of the rows not to much ruffle. I slip stitch every other row. For the larger sizes I also alternate with treble crochet rows. As shown in my dress on the model.

I picked up crocheting to add crochet items to my Etsy shop, but have fallen in love with designing instead. I began making my own patterns almost instantly and am in the process of switching over from taking orders to making patterns.

I love to use different stitches to get all sorts of unique textures and looks.
