I love granny squares so much, I decided to include them in those cute slippers. (available in adult sizes too, see my other patterns)
They are actually worked around a granny triangle, using different stitches to create the shaping of the front of the slipper. Then the heel is worked for a perfect fit : these babouches actually "fit like a glove" !! ;-)
They are very quick to crochet (1.5 hour to crochet a pair in the largest size), and hopefully you'll find them a fun project too.
The pattern is richly illustrated with lots of step by step photos and detailed instructions: I am a visual learner and love to "see" what the instructions tell me to do.
Instructions are given to make those in 3 sizes, to fit babies from 3 to 12 months.
21 dc and 11 rows = 10 cm / 4"

Bonjour! I'm Sylvie Damey, french designer living in the french Alps. I learned to knit as a child. In 2004, the birth of my first daughter was the occasion for me to start publishing my own designs, learn to crochet, spin yarn...and even sew again. And, that's how ChezPlum started. My patterns have also been published in Knitty.com and the book "1000 hats" by Annie Modesitt.
