Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should already know how to ch, sl st, sc, hdc and dc.
  • Additional stitches are explained in the instructions.

Pattern Description:

Quickly make up this light and airy thread crochet scarf in waves of blue to dress up your summer outfits! The shells and reverse shells in the pattern create the wavy design. It also incorporates a no-chain foundation row.

This is an easy project that can be finished quickly. It is a repeat of three different rows, in addition to a border row.

The pattern is written in U.S. terms.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 4" wide x 55" long


  • Crochet cotton, size 10, in 350 yd. (320 m) balls - 1 ball each of medium blue, blue green and aqua
  • Size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook
