I love old turn-of-the-century crochet patterns. I adapted this scarf from a lace pattern I found in a 1915 publication titled 'Priscilla Crochet Book Edgings and Insertions.' If you have ever tried to follow an antique crochet pattern you know that deciphering the instructions can be very confusing. My version has been simplified and directions are much easier to understand. Although it looks complicated, my pattern is very simple to make - if you can make chains and triple crochet stitches, you can make this scarf.
The red scarf is made with Lion brand 'Suede' and an H hook. The multicolor scarf is made with 'I Love This Yarn' and an F hook.
