Made using the sturdy Tunisian crochet stitch this smart looking little purse has the perfect hand, plenty thick enough to keep everything in place, yet soft and light weight enough to be really comfortable. A great quick weekend project that will really make your life easier.

This little purse really is the perfect size to keep all your basic essential close on hand. The two pockets are the perfect size to carry your cell and a small camera, or a few credit cards and some cash. A great first project for trying out the Tunisian crochet stitch.

  • less than one skein main color yarn, dk or light worsted weight
  • less than one skein contrasting color, dk or light worsted weight
  • size H Tunisian circular crochet hook, crohook or double ended Tunisian hook

You Will Also Need:

  • two, 3/4" buttons
  • extra yarn for crocheting a strap, or
  • 1/2 leather strap, 34" long plus extra length for attaching, or
  • four 1/4 " wide leather thongs to create a four strand round braid, finished braid will be 34" long plus an additional 24" for weaving
