Pattern Description:

Stay ultra warm while looking Fabulous in this NEW Hat Pattern by Designer Cindy Kamps.

The Whimsical TRY ANGLES Hat is a definite Hit and the perfect way to use up those yarn SCRAPS you just can't part with.

The clever design starts out with triangle motifs forming a colorful base for the hat and repeated for the Earflaps which are Optional. Followed by rows and rows of mix and match yarns. (I used 2 strands worsted weight)

There is simply no limit to the color combos and yarn types you can use. Just stick to the guage and use single strands and combined strands of yarns to an equivalent of 2 strands worsted weight yarn.

You are going to love making this. Although the pattern is sized for an Adult, simply reducing the hook size and using just 1 strand of yarn will result in a child size hat.

Lots of versatility here. I hope you will enjoy making it as much as I enjoyed creating the pattern.

GUAGE: 3" X 3" Square=8 DC Wide X 4 DC ROWS Dee

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sized to fit adult or child

  • Scraps of Worsted Weight Yarn in a variety of colors and textures

You Will Also Need:

  • Size J Hook (USA) adult, size G Hook for children
