Pattern Description:

This is a set for a cowl, a slouchy and a pair of gloves that look like they are worked diagonally. However, it is nothing as complicated as that.

The word "tircha" means diagonal(ly) in Hindi, तिरछा pronounced "thi-r-cha‟ describes this pattern perfectly. (thir ; ir as in mirror).

Gauge:

Not critical

Materials:

  • 4 ply acrylic (fingering #1) yarn ; 160 g / 700 yds for set (35g + 75g + 50g)
  • 4 - 4.25 mm (G) crochet hook
  • embroidery needle for joining

You Will Also Need:

  • Basic embroidery skills to join
  • Knowledge of whip st (instructions provided)
  • Knowledge of sc or sl-st crochet join (instructions given)

Suggested yarn:

700 yards of Fingering weight
