When my mom tried to teach herself how to crochet using a guide for beginners I was fascinated. I begged her to teach me all that she learned, so at the age of seven I picked up my first crochet hook. Since then I have enjoyed the craft immensely. You can find me working away at a new project almost as soon as I have completed the old one. I have dabbled a little in designing my own patterns and feel such a sense of pride when I see the projects of others that have been made using one of my pattern designs.View all patterns by designer (8) »
This ruffle scarf is an eye-catching work of art that will draw compliments wherever you go! It is worked in the round with a fun picot edging. Wear it with your favorite coat or as an accessory to your everyday indoor wear.
This pattern works great with any acrylic fiber or brand, and works especially well with self-striping yarns. Or, use up your odds and ends and make a unique gift for someone special!
The finished scarf in the photo used 2 complete skeins of the Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable PLUS a few yards of coordinating odds and ends that I used along the outer edge.
If you wish to complete this using all the same fiber, I would suggest purchasing as many skeins necessary to make 600 yards total. That way, you are sure to have the right amount to complete the project.
Not relevant; use recommended hook size for yarn selected.
