Pattern Description:

This listing is for a crochet pattern for The Susannah Bonnet, part of my Prairie Home Collection.

This is truly one my my favorite patterns, inspired by my late summer baby. A striking, textural sunflower motif cover the entire back of the bonnet, and is finished with a simple, crisp frame around that cute little face. I love the country simplicity of this bonnet-it would make a great shower gift, or a unique Easter bonnet.

All patterns written in standard US terms.

Sizes (all included in pattern):
Measured from front of cheekbone to cheekbone behind the head.

Newborn: 10 inches
6 months: 12 inches
12 months: 13 inches
2 T: 14 inches
Yarn:
Any worsted weight yarn in three colors. Suggestions included with the pattern.

Skill level:
Easy-Intermediate (SC, DC, SLST, simple instructions for 5 DC cluster and TC bobble are included).

-Any worsted weight yarn for main color (50-80 yards) -Any worsted weight yarn in brown for center of sunflower (20-30 yards) -Any worsted weight yarn for petals (15-20 yards) -I used Lion Brand Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend in Bakery Box and Mink and Vanna's Choice in Mustard -5.0 mm crochet hook -Tapestry needle
