I've been wanting a pair of fingerless/thumbless gloves for ages, but I wanted an optional mitten/finger flap for those moments were it is particularly cold. I was unable to find anything I liked, so I decided to write my own pattern. I made a pair for myself, and loved them. As I was writing the pattern many changes were made and now I love them even more! The option of having your fingers and thumb free allow for typing, texting and crocheting while wearing them - a must have for any yarnaholic! ;-)

Gauge:

First 5 rows = 2" in length

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

finished glove without mitten flap = 6.5" in length
finished glove with mitten flap in use = 10.5" in length
approximately 7" around

Materials:

Medium/light worsted weight yarn
5.00MM hook
2 1/2 inch buttons

You Will Also Need:

pfst - hdc puff stitch (instructions included with pattern)
sc2tog - single crochet 2 together (instructions included with pattern)
hdc2tog - half double crochet 2 together (instructions included with pattern)
dc2tog - double crochet 2 together (instructions included with pattern)
single crochet chainless foundation stitches (YouTube search advised)
