The nightcaps and bonnets that were worn in The Little House on the Prairie inspired the design of this hat, hence the name: The Laura hat.
Vintage inspired and feminie, this beanie is not only adorable, but also warm and cozy becuase of the cluster stitch used to make it. Perfectly cute and cozy!

My kids were in a production of The Nutcracker one year and had long rehearsals. Parents were required to stay and wait for them. I needed something to do while I waited so I bought some yarn and a few hooks, watched some YouTube videos and printed out a few how-to tutorials from the Internet. My OBSESSION was born! The rest is history! Everything I know about crocheting I taught myself. It is how I relax and de-stress. Creating new patterns and seeing the finished product is a much needed creative outlet for me.
