Great Pattern and easy to follow.
These were easy to make. My girls loved them. I also made different flowers and put them on pins to be able to change the feel and colors of the hat easily.
Does this pattern require tight crocheting?
I"m an extremely tight crocheter/knitter and I had to let up a bit. Now I think a loose crocheter might have a problem so check your gauge.
I've gone down to a size 'G' crochet hook, and the gauge is still too big. The only way I come close to the gauge is to use baby yarn and a size 'f' hook.
made this for my daughter in varigated yarn. It turned out really nice and the pattern was very easy to follow.
Is there a way to keep the brim from bending? I have one corner that wants to curl up and the other curl down.

I'm crocheting right now (I'm on the 7th round) and the directions are really easy to follow too! They only thing I've ever crocheted is a simple skinny scarf. I've never followed a pattern before so if I can do it anyone can!

How does the brim turn out, floppy or somewhat stiff?
Somewhat stiff. Though I have realized it gets distorted and bends oddly at times.
I adore this hat! My aunt pinned it on pinterest and I was like "I gotta have the pattern!!!!!" This is going to be my next crochet project<3
