Here is my best selling textured newsboy hat pattern. This fabulously funky cap is quick to make up and looks terrific in a variety of hues. The rich texture of this hat is easy to achieve and does not require complicated needle gymnastics! Popular with both younger and older girls this hat is fabulous for all seasons by using cotton in summer and wool in winter. An absolute favourite with teens too.

Good Such a cute hat  August 24, 2013

My youngest daughter has a crochet newsboy hat that we found at a garage sale and my older daughter wanted one also so I scoured the web for a cute pattern and this is the best one I found. Can easily be altered to add shells or something.

Good Easy and cute!  December 23, 2012

I love that this is a versatile cap for adults as well as babies and children. The end result looks complicated, but the patterns is deceptively simple and easy to follow. I can't wait to show off my new cap!

Excellent Love this hat  April 6, 2012

This hat pattern is so simple and easy to follow and read. I have made several of these already and they sell nicely. There were no problems with it and after making this hat pattern. I prefer these flowers to all the other flowers.

I first learned to crochet at school camp when I was about 11 years old. I have crochted on and off for years but really took it up again with a vengeance about seven years ago as a way to keep myself stimulated (and sane!) whilst being home with my two babies.
I now have a successful pattern design business which I love. My head is constantly full of ideas and my house overflows with balls ...
