Pattern Description:

These are thumbless baby mittens with a chic oversized crocheted "button" for embellishment. The ribbed cuff is extra long to help keep the mittens on. The difficulty level of this pattern is "Easy", so feel free to chat with friends or watch your favorite movie while you work.

The yarn I used in the pattern is Mission Falls 1824 Wool, which is a heavy worsted weight, 100% Superwash wool. I used just one, 85yd skein for the main color, and only about 12 yds for the two buttons. This yarn, which was really wonderful, has been discontinued, so you should look for a worsted or heavy worsted weight, superwash wool yarn to substitute, and check your gauge carefully. A yarn of the same size and fiber content will yield the best results, as it will behave most like the original yarn.

This pattern makes a soft, warm, and stylish pair of mittens.
