This is my first cabled pattern. I really wanted something as long as a beanie, to cover my ears, but with a little brim. So, really - it was designed as a hat that I would wear. As it always goes, though - my daughter got the one right off the hook. LOL
I named it after one of my favorite shows - Once Upon A Time. Not that the design has anything to do with it. But it gets cold in Storybrooke, Maine. And I'm sure that, if I ever visited, I'd definitely wear this hat ;)
At the end of Row 4, the circle should measure 4"

I learned basic crochet as a young girl. Didn't really pick it up again until I wanted to crochet for my babies. Then I took a LONG break while I was very into tole painting. Then technology entered the picture. I started up a graphic design business that is still going. Suddenly, I felt the urge to crochet again and ended up opening my own crochet business at the end of 2009. I named it Harvester Products after the meaning of my name - Teresa. It really took off once I started making character hats in 2011. There is not a day that goes by without me crocheting. I am either working on orders or creating a new design. It's relaxing and fulfilling and I can't imagine ever NOT doing it!
