Fabulous and fun April 14, 2013

Despite being a relatively inexperienced crocheter, I managed this pattern just fine. There are plenty of pictures in the pattern to help you along, and instructions are clear. The first time I read the instructions for the button flap, I got a bit confused but as soon as I started actually making the hat, it made sense - don't be intimidated by it!
My daughters LOVE my prototypes, and I finally got my hands on cotton yarn in red/blue/white, so we'll all have fabulous sunhats for 4 July! ...
