Pattern Description:

I've watched every incarnation of Star Trek since it was black and white. This design joins my sci-ft hats as my homage to that enduring vision of an evolved humanity.

These ear warmers lend themselves to further embellishment,
including embroidery, beading and, perhaps petals around the center for elven folk.

Long, long ago, far, far away, when the subway cost a quarter and the corner drugstore was also an ice cream parlor where a little girl sipped vanilla egg creams, her mother, who made her wonderful clothes, showed her how to crochet. Her father taught her how to solder and make a tuner.
