This is the crochet version of my knit Ratatouille Hat. The Ratatouille was named by my kids after I finished making the hat. When I put it on they exclaimed, "Mommy, you look like Ratatouille!" Given that they were watching the movie with the same name I totally understood what they meant.
Hence, the name Sous Chef for this hat. Not quite the same as the head chef (no pun intended) but still good all the same :-)
Size is easily customizable if needed. Simple make the band shorter or longer depending on what size you desire and pick up a multiple of 8 stitches around the brim.
Gauge: 5 HDC rows in BLO = 2"; 10 HDC sts = 2"
