I decided to give this pattern away free as a thanks to all the vets who fight and have fought for our freedom- Thank you!!
The neck pouch is very handy when you have no pockets but need to stash some cash, house key, or other small item. It could probably be adjusted to fit very small cell phones. The top is open for easy access but will not fall out when you bend over due to the shaping. The pouch is soft around the neck, very light and can fit inside your shirt. You can make one to match any outfit pretty quickly. It also makes a nice gift bag and party favor
Skill Level: Beginner
Your choice of color soft worsted weight, 1 oz (I used Caron Simply Soft)
Size H/8 5mm hook
Of course you could also use a different weight yarn and smaller or larger hook for a smaller or larger size pouch. This mini pocket pouch is made from soft acrylic yarn and is meant to be worn over the neck. It falls about mid-chest. You or your child's tiny treasures will be secure due to the 2 inch opening and tight stitch. And your hands stay free! The design has a gentle ridge you can even hang small items to. The widest part of the bag is 3 inches. You can always add more stitches to make the opening larger. To make it so you can strap it across the body, add more to the chain at the end. Keep adding chains until the length is where you want it.
This little pouch is perfect for kids and adults. The uses are almost endless.
Thanks and enjoy!

Hi there! My name is Heidi. I've been creating with my hands for as long as I can remember. Currently, I’m a stay-at-home Mom of four children who loves to crochet as a necessary outlet for my creativity and started a small craft business venture. I learned how to crochet quite a few years ago but the skill got forgotten in the crazy chaos of life. About 3 years ago, as a way to enjoy some of the simple joys in life, I re-discovered the incredible art of crochet and it is now my new passion. I love creating something out of such simple tools. My favorite is making toys. As my skills have developed, I realized how much I enjoyed creating my own patterns. My children started making requests for toys and I share my patterns here with you. If only my fingers could move as fast as the ideas come to me!
I hope you will join me in my yarn adventures as I continue to design unique toys and accessories for kids of ALL ages. Most of the patterns use basic crochet stitches and are crocheted in the round. All are offered as instant PDF downloads. Many progress photos are often included. I hope you are inspired to create something unique and fun! If you ever have any questions about any of my patterns, I will get back to you as soon as I can
Feel free to make and sell the finished toys you create from my patterns. You are the one creating them but please respect my copyright. Do not sell, alter, change, copy or share the pattern itself.
