Simple Granny Square Bag

from Mandy's Craft Tales
(4) Name: 'Crocheting : Simple Granny Square Bag
Simple Granny Square Bag

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should know how to do basic crochet stitches

Pattern Description:

This is a very simple granny square bag that I designed to use in a crochet class where I teach children, so it is a great pattern for children learning to crochet as it is also something that they can use. This also means that it is a great project for any beginner crocheter, or as a quick project for an experienced crocheter.

This bag can be made for a child, or it can be used by an adult as a small carry bag to carry just a few items.

It is made in 7 rounds, but you could increase the size of the bag by increasing the number of rounds of your granny square.

This is also a great stash busting project as it doesn't take a lot of yarn.

I would love to see what you make with this pattern. Come and show me your photos over on my facebook page "Mandy's Craft Tales".
