Shell Stitch Newborn Bowl Photo Prop

Shell Stitch Newborn Bowl Photo Prop

Pattern Description:

This pattern is for a newborn size "bowl" prop. I've seen them called cocoons, swaddlers, pouches, and several other things. They're all the rage as photography right now! Unlike many other options, this pattern uses worsted weight yarn, so the item has a lovely weight that doesn't overwhelm baby. The bowl is made up of a delicate but dense stitch with a lovely small shell edging. Dress it up with a hat as shown or use it plain. It's gorgeous both ways!
