I was making a shell stitch beanie and thought how cute it would be to just make it a headband or ear warmer and make it in the round like a beanie. Then I decided it needed a matching fingerless glove/wrist warmer.
This is a really fun and easy crochet pattern and a top selling item at craft shows. Instructions are given for sizes newborn to adult and the instructions for using bulky weight yarn. Using the bulky weight yarn and an L hook you can make this ear warmer head band in about 45 minutes!
Gauge really does not matter for this pattern except for the first two single crochet rows. Detailed instructions given for sizing to different ages.

My grandmother taught me to crochet at age 10. I still remember crocheting tons of granny squares! Over the years I would crochet and then stop. I recently renewed my love of crochet with my grandsons appearance in 2012. I specialize in quick and easy crochet patterns that anyone can crochet!
